The New Dawn: Music

The Will of God (6:19)

(The New Dawn)
January 1, 2006
In Noah's day, the people turned from God, hate and sin were out of hand. And God told Noah, you must build an ark, for I am going to flood the land. But what if Noah had said no to God, turned his back and walked away? If he had chose to ignore the will of God, would we be standing here today?

CHORUS
Our Holy Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done.
Our Holy Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, we thank You for Your Saviour Son.

When Abraham was old, he had a son, and Isaac was his father's joy. But God said take a knife and firewood, for you must sacrifice the boy. But what if Abraham had said no to God, turned his back and walked away? If he had chose to ignore the will of God, would we be standing here today?

God told Mose's, go to Egypt's king, tell him, let My people go. And I will lead them to the promised land, where the milk and honey flow. But what if Mose's had said no to God, turned his back and walked away? If he had chose to ignore the will of God, would we be standing here today?

Jesus came to wash away our sins, and to do His Father's will. To make an everlasting covenant, and the prophesies fulfill. But what if Jesus had said no to God, turned his back and walked away? Without His sacrifice upon the Cross, would we be standing here today?

All through history, God has called on man, to go and do His holy will. And even in this modern world of ours, He is calling on us still. And if He calls, will you say no to God, turn your back and walk away? Or will you chose to do the will of God, say here I am Lord, point the way?
